Administrative Assistant - Kemper County
The Administrative Assistant position provides administrative and clerical support to the plant management and staff at the Kemper County Energy facility. The successful candidate will handle all aspects administrative support duties including but not limited to the following responsibilities:
General administrative and clerical duties to support plant management and functional areas of the plant as required.
Preparing monthly reports and other ad hoc administrative responsibilities such as data entry, phone inquiries, meeting planning/calendar maintenance, and file management.
Manage iExpense, Enterprise Solutions applications for department procurement card administration, processing invoices, expense statements, timesheets and special projects.
Ensure that time reporting for departments are accurate each pay period
Serve as back up to other functional areas at the plant when required
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills. A working knowledge of Oracle Financials and Maximo is preferred. This position requires the ability to work with confidential information and the ability to properly handle sensitive information.
This position will report to the Plant Services Team Leader at the Kemper County Energy facility. This is a non-exempt position and the salary will be commensurate with the applicant’s education and experience.
Three or more years’ experience in a high volume office environment is required.
Extensive computer experience including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
Experience working with all levels of management is highly preferred.
Experience in working in a plant environment is a plus.

High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Secondary degree is a plus
