This person will continue to design develop and champion efforts to create a world class analytics, optimization and personalization program at a Fortune 500 organization.

The Product Manager in SCS Customer Experience is responsible for managing the implementation, adoption and ongoing use of the Adobe Marketing Cloud Suite of products (Analytics, DTM, Target, and AEM) for the purpose of enhancing digital experiences at Southern Company. In this role, the product manager will leverage Marketing Technologies to bridge the gap between Marketing, IT and Business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge in measuring digital effectiveness, enhancing personalization efforts and delivering a comprehensive enterprise content management solutions to impact business outcomes. The successful product manager will develop Marketing Technology product roadmaps aligning with CX strategies and find areas where products integrate in order to gain operational efficiencies. In addition, this individual will enable and conduct deep dive analysis on customer facing web properties, champion customer experience via digital optimization through A/B and multivariate testing and measure the success of campaigns for all channels. This individual will provide leadership, guidance and consultation directly to stakeholders across multiple brands and be responsible for ensuring insights are available.


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and proven experience

• Hands on experience leading all efforts (tool selection, implementation, governance through adoption) related to digital analytics, tag management, optimization, personalization and content management

• Deep knowledge of available Marketing Technologies in the marketplace and experience applying them

• Ability to deliver insights derived from analysis to a broad group of stakeholders

• Strong relationship management and project management skills

• Proven ability to work effectively, influence and translate concepts to business partners in IT, Marketing and Customer Service in a decentralized environment

• Experience selecting and partnering with third party vendors


• Oversees the successful implementation of selected digital optimization products (Adobe Analytics, DTM, Target, AEM).

• Actively manages vendor contract negotiations and ongoing relationships

• Develops, manages and communicates marketing technology roadmaps

• Drives ongoing toolset implementation, governance and adoption Optimizes customer experience by finding optimization opportunities and enabling hypothesis testing

• Advocates and consults with business stakeholders across multiple brands

• Uncovers and effectively communicates insights that will influence and support strategy across all digital touch points

• Identifies and recommends digital and technology enhancements that integrate disparate platforms and improve operational efficiencies
